This auction includes two tickets to see a live performance at A Noise Within! A Noise Within produces classic theatre as an essential means to enrich our community by embracing universal human experiences, expanding personal awareness, and challenging individual perspectives. Up Next: THE BOOK OF WILL (from May 7 - June 4) By Lauren Gunderson Directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott & Geoff Elliott History, humor, and hijinks abound in this love letter to theater and friendship. After Shakespeare’s death, his friends, who also happen to be his fellow members of the King’s Men, are struck with the epiphany that it is up to them to preserve and print Will’s famous plays which otherwise exist only in script fragments and aging memories. Peppered with some of Shakespeare’s most famous lines, this fresh, modern look at the Bard is a must-see whether you love Shakespeare, origin stories, or tales of friendship. Running Time: Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes including one 15-minute intermission

A note from we were one them: We invite you to support the Junior League of Pasadena by bidding on one or more of the amazing items in our silent auction flash sale! The funds raised from your participation will enable the League to continue supporting volunteers and community leaders as we work together on our focus area: supporting the development of women in our community by strengthening their business, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. The focus area has given life to a variety of projects under this umbrella including, but not limited to: ● Women’s Career Workshops covering topics such as resume writing and mock interviewing, ● Participation in the Little Black Dress initiative, a week-long social media awareness and fundraising campaign to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources, ● Advocating for legislation focused on making it better for women in the workplace. ● Development Drives, in which members donate items ranging from portfolios to professional attire, supporting the success of workshop attendees. A new initiative this year was a noteworthy Diaper Drive in which over 4,000 diapers were donated to families in need. Thank you to our donors and bidders!
