This auction includes two wonderful items, perfect for the family with young kids! Tom Sawyer Camps has provided a certificate for the popular and active Saturday Camp Session! This outdoor program is for children 3 years through 8th grade. Saturday camp provides campers with safe outdoor activities, and connection to other campers and counselors. Campers in Saturday Camp are with up to 12 camper and 2 staff. They participate in an all-outdoor program with archery, games, hikes, and TSC fun! This is for two consecutive Saturdays per session. Drop off is 8:45-9:00am and and pickup is at 2:00pm. Restrictions: Saturday Camp runs September through May only. Certificate may not be used for any other TSC programs. The gift certificate does not expire. The Kidspace Children's Museum as also provided four general admission tickets. Kidspace is a nonprofit museum designed to delight and engage children emotionally, intellectually, and physically through joyful, kid-driven experiences. They invite all children to play, discover, create, thrive, and to explore the world with curiosity and kindness. Every time you play, learn, and make memories with your family, you help your child develop intellectually, socially, physically, and creatively. That’s why Kidspace offers boundless ways to play and connect every day.
A note from we were one them: We invite you to support the Junior League of Pasadena by bidding on one or more of the amazing items in our silent auction flash sale! The funds raised from your participation will enable the League to continue supporting volunteers and community leaders as we work together on our focus area: supporting the development of women in our community by strengthening their business, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills. The focus area has given life to a variety of projects under this umbrella including, but not limited to:
● Women’s Career Workshops covering topics such as resume writing and mock interviewing,
● Participation in the Little Black Dress initiative, a week-long social media awareness and fundraising
campaign to illustrate the restrictions poverty places on choices, opportunities, and access to resources,
● Advocating for legislation focused on making it better for women in the workplace.
● Development Drives, in which members donate items ranging from portfolios to professional attire,
supporting the success of workshop attendees. A new initiative this year was a noteworthy Diaper Drive in which over 4,000 diapers were donated to families in need.
